How does STAXX actually work?
When your tournament concludes, players apply to STAXX for an advance on their prize. We verify the results, advance them up to 80% of their winnings usually within 48 hours, and wait for your normal payout to settle the rest. You don't change anything about how you operate.
Does it cost us anything to partner with STAXX?
We charge a small percentage of the prize pool per event — exact pricing is agreed during onboarding based on your event size and frequency. There are no platform fees, no setup costs, and no long-term contracts to sign
Do we need to integrate with our existing systems?
No. STAXX operates completely independently of your registration, bracket, or payment infrastructure. All we need is confirmation of final results and player details — which you already have.
What happens to our normal payout process?
Nothing changes. You continue paying out on your existing timeline. STAXX fronts the money to players in the meantime — when your payout is processed, it settles the advance automatically.
How quickly can we get set up?
Most partners are up and running within a week of first contact. We'll walk you through everything, provide any player-facing communications you need, and be live before your next event.
Which regions do you support?
No. We don't charge interest and we're not a lender. We advance your prize money early and you tip what you think is fair for getting your money months sooner.
