By accessing or using Staxx ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
Apex provides a prize money advance service for competitive esports players. You ("Player," "you," or "your") may request an advance on verified tournament winnings, which you agree to repay when the tournament organizer pays you.

We verify your win through publicly available sources including Liquipedia, HLTV, official tournament pages, or by contacting tournament organizers directly. Verification typically takes up to 24 hours.
Upon approval, you will receive 80-85% of your verified prize amount. The remaining 15-20% is held back and returned to you when you repay the advance.

When the tournament organizer pays you:

You are responsible for repaying the advance amount regardless of whether the tournament organizer pays you. This is a critical term: even if the TO delays payment, fails to pay, or goes bankrupt, you remain obligated to repay Staxx.

If the tournament organizer fails to pay you, contact us immediately. We may offer flexible payment plans on a case-by-case basis, but this is at our sole discretion and does not eliminate your obligation to repay.
If you fail to repay the advance when due, we reserve the right to:

Express fees are charged upfront and are non-refundable.
After repaying your advance, you may voluntarily tip Staxx any amount from £0 to the suggested maximum (typically 7-10% of the prize amount). Tips are entirely optional.
We do not charge interest, credit check fees, or hidden costs. The only fees are express delivery fees (if selected) and any voluntary tips you choose to provide.
Apex assumes the risk that tournament organizers may delay or fail to pay. However, you remain responsible for repaying the advance regardless of TO payment status.
We only provide advances for tournaments that meet our verification standards. However, we do not guarantee that any tournament organizer will pay their obligations.
If a tournament organizer fails to pay, you cannot offset this against your repayment obligation to Apex. Your obligation to Apex is independent of the TO's obligation to you.
By using Apex, you authorize us to:
You may revoke this authorization, but doing so will be considered a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate collection proceedings.

All content on the Staxx platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Staxx or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using Staxx, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Staxx is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Staxx does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for understanding the tax implications of receiving advances and tips.
We do not guarantee that any tournament organizer will pay prize money as promised. While we attempt to verify TO reliability, we cannot control their actions.
We use third-party services (banking, verification, etc.) and are not responsible for their failures or errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount of the advance you received.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Apex, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on our website. Continued use of Staxx after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Material changes (e.g., changes to repayment obligations or fees) will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
You may stop using Staxx at any time, but you remain obligated to repay any outstanding advances.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Apex immediately if:

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Apex.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights to any successor or affiliate.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
